Hi All

Hi Guys

My name is David and live out at Strathalbyn, got into the 1/5 scene when I bought a cheap FS model, have got a HPI Baja 5b now and much happier with it, I have never done any racing but would be keen to get involved.

Is my equipment any good for the purpose or is it back to scratch and get something else, all input would be appreciated. ::)

Hey Dave, I'm Dave also.

Never be afraid to come out and have a go mate, the hardest part I found was to take that initial step and get out there.

The guys at SALS are awesome and always willing to help you out etc.

Your gear would be fine to have a crack at racing mate and it will give you an idea of whether you want to race or not.

As mentioned above, the new seasons race dates will be up soon.

If you hadn't heard of it, have a squizz over here aswell http://www.largescaledownunder.com.au/index.php?action=forum

Cheers Dave.

Hey David, killer bee switch is fine mate, and you can hire a transponder from the Club to start with to see if your into Racing , or keep an eye on the For Sale section on Large Scale Downunder forum as they sometimes come up for sale there also on ebay as well !!
Cheers buddy.

Awesome mate. Lots of places sell transponders SALS hires them out for the day and once your heart is set on racin go ahead and buy your own.
