Bit of both mate.
We run a timed session for the members to have a bit of practice and for the new guys to experience how the timing system works.
Then we normally have some small races.

The races are just for fun to give the newbies an idea of how races days are run, and get a feel for racing itself.

I think most new bled that come to the last open day had a real ball, and the club members are only to willing to lend a hand, and offer advice to everyone that needs help.

HB Khaos or HB Protos are the most common used at the track but your dirt busters should see you right  :good:

Your after mini pin type tires not blocks. Blocks wont have much grip.
