Fun Day - 3rd December

Hi All,

We have our Fun Day this Sunday 3rd December.

There has been a lot of discussion about running an Enduro event, which I think is a cool idea. If anyone has any other ideas please post em up.

If we ran an Enduro we could use a similar format to other clubs.

Teams could consist of:
- Two drivers (one car each)
- Two drivers (one car shared)
- One solo driver (one car)

2hr long endurance race with fuel/tyre change stops as required. The team with the most completed laps in 2hrs will take out the challenge.

As i said, happy to hear other suggestions. Lets see what everyone thinks 

Cost of the day will be $10 per car. BBQ and Drinks will be available.

Just a few questions will there be heats or just straight up 2hrs of going for it?
Will all classes run together or 2 and 4wd separate?

I think 2wd and 4wd should be separate.

I’m open to suggestions mate.

I believe it should be to or could get a bit messy with to many cars running all at once plus we have all day

I have 1 suggestion but might not work for the solo guys but seen a few enduro videos where a team member from each team has to race to car and then start it and then driver can go think its to help cars all start spaced out but that might also be bit of crazy with 1/5 scale but just an idea

Looks as though we could have some nasty weather on its way that could impact the running of the Fun Day on the weekend.

As always we will try and wait until the last minute to give the track the highest possible chance of recovering from a weather incident.

Hey guys,

At this stage the fun day is still on. There are a few washouts on the track due to the rain so they will need some repair before we can get on it to use.
